Bama Blitz 2018

The University of Alabama’s School of Social Work prepares scholar-practitioners and researchers committed to ending adverse social conditions and promoting societal well-being through teaching, research and service.

Our passion project is book scholarships and we’re asking for $15,000 to impact 30 students. This would cover a $500 book scholarship for each student to use during the fall 2018 semester.

"With a book scholarship, students who otherwise couldn't get their required textbooks will be able to stay ahead and on track in class. As a student who received scholarships for the better part of college career, I can attest to the need for them."
