Be part of a program that provides more than 2,700 students with over $5 million in scholarship support annually.
The Alumni Scholarship Program was initiated in 1967 by the Alumni Council. The program is currently designed to reward high school seniors and transfer students for their academic and leadership achievements, to recognize current full-time undergraduate students for academic excellence; and to attract children and grandchildren of active UA graduates to the Capstone. The NAA boasts more than 32,000 active members and has 107 chapters across the country.
“It was great to know that alumni near my hometown were so willing to invest in my future at The University. Not only has The University of Alabama affected my life positively, but I have also invested much of my time making lasting impressions on the lives of other students as a member of freshmen forum, the student senate and was elected vice president for student affairs of the Student Government Association.”
-Brittany Loper, Jacksonville, Florida, Alumni Chapter Scholarship Recipient
"Learning that I had received an alumni scholarship for the University of Alabama was one of the proudest moments of my life. It was at this time that I realized that hard work really does pay off and that there were actually people who cared enough to reward you for that hard work. This scholarship helped make my dream of attending the University of Alabama a reality. Thank you to everyone who made this scholarship possible for me!"
