Approximately 4% of UA students are without insurance and may have unmet healthcare needs due to financial limitations. The University offers a student health insurance plan, but this plan may still be unaffordable for some students. Uninsured or underinsured students may incur unaffordable expenses associated with co-pays, medications, tests, procedures or other health-related needs. This assistance fund reduces the barrier to accessing care, providing a healthier campus for all students and allowing the opportunity to seek medical support as needed. Join us in supporting the healthcare and well-being of students at the University of Alabama, enabling them to reach their highest academic potential!
