Bama Blitz 2024

Experiential learning opportunities are woven throughout every HES program of study. While some of these outside-the-classroom hours are optional, many are required for their major. The HES Experiential Learning Endowed Support Fund was established as a financial resource for students who might otherwise be unable to take full advantage of these dynamic opportunities. We believe hands-on learning experiences are crucial, offering students a way to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations and deepen their understanding of complex concepts that apply to their chosen field and beyond. 

Through internships and practicums, students learn directly from professionals in the industry and develop as leaders, giving them a jump start on their future careers. Other activities, such as simulations and interactive projects help develop critical thinking and collaboration skills essential for success in many of our professional disciplines. Experiential learning has proven invaluable for our students and enhances their academic, personal and professional development. 

Because not all of our students have the financial means to participate fully in these experiences, we are asking for your help today in growing our existing endowment. Your donation to HES during Bama Blitz 2024 will allow us to expand our potential to provide this financial resource to the HES students of today and tomorrow.
