One of the first five universities to offer engineering instruction in the nation, The University of Alabama has more than 175 years of engineering education experience. Today, it boasts seven departments, a student population of nearly 6,000 and an alumni base of more than 17,000 individuals. The college community is working to expand research programs and graduate enrollment, implement sustainable solutions to current social issues and invest in experiential learning opportunities for all students which will position them to become tomorrow’s leaders.
