The alumni association for the College of Engineering, called the Capstone Engineering Society (CES), supports growth, fosters relationships, encourages philanthropy, invests in students and engages alumni through fundraising, events and networking. Contributions made to this annual fund provide crucial discretionary funding for priority needs within the College. The CES fund also provides need-based assistance for student organizations and competition teams. Just last year, the CES awarded $101,250 in scholarships to 41 students. The CES also supported MentorUPP, which provided professional and peer mentors to nearly 200 undergraduate students.
UA’s College of Engineering is committed to educating tomorrow’s engineers and computer scientists who will continue leading our state and world in the construction, automotive and high-tech industries. Generations of future engineers and the growing economy are greatly affected by these philanthropic contributions. Therefore, the University looks to its alumni and friends to support this great institution in order to impact the future.
Giving to the annual fund is membership into the Capstone Engineering Society.
